In go go girl power ranger! I revisit childhood play as a time before girls are told to leave aggression behind in order to become more socially accepted demure women.  Power Rangers was a television show I watched as a child in the early nineties and emulated with my friends.  In this performance, I don the Yellow Power Ranger costume and ask various passers-by at York University to play Power Rangers with me.  In the process, women who participate in the play-fighting are taken back to a less gendered time in their childhood when they were still allowed to display stereotypically male traits of physical strength and aggression.
